Vacuum is important at construction industry. It is used for brick, tile, sytropor and concrete. It is also widely used at plastik, rubber, door, furniture, ceramic and textile industries.

Brick and tile industry : Bricks and tiles are shaped as mud at pressing machines. It is important to suck most humidity from that mud. Otherwise, shape of bricks and tiles is not proper and most of them are wasted. It is needed high vacuum pressure and capacity in these machines. Generally, POM-VAK double-stage liquid ring vacuum pumps are used for this operation. Nowadays, OIL RING VACUUM SYSTEMS are preferred because of deeper pressure and stable capacity. This system never needs water so there is not lime problem in the system.

Isolation materials : EPS is widely used as isolation materials at construction industry. So, vacuum is necessarry for these products. Liquid ring vacuum pumps are used for them because of sucked water steam from the application. Generally monoblock type pumps are used but if there is central vacuum system, single-stage vacuum pumps can supply higher capacity. POM-VAK discharge pumps are also used for water which is condensed in central vacuum tank. These pumps can get water against vacuum pressure and discharge.

Concrete industry : Vacuum can also be used for shaped concrete products. The product will have lower humidity and be stronger.
